Solar Technician Trainer

$80,000 a year - Full-time

The Solar Technician will work to support the technical and educational instruction associated with trainees entering the renewable energy career field, specifically photovoltaic systems, and solar energy applications. The Instructor will lead training sessions for adult trainees for approximately 13 weeks. The primary responsibility will be adapting and facilitating an Academy accredited curriculum supported by The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER). The instructor will also support the trainee’s academic development and career goals to acquire the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Associate Credentials; this certification recognizes individuals in the solar industry who have demonstrated knowledge of the fundamental principles of the application, design, installation, and operation of Photovoltaic, Solar Heating or Small Wind energy systems.

Program Director

$125,000 - $175,000 a year - Full-time

The Program Director is a key leadership role responsible for the strategic development, operational management, and overall success of 548 Foundation’s workforce development programs. This includes the construction training program and the solar installation/construction core program. The Program Director will oversee all aspects of program delivery, staff supervision, grant compliance, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring the highest standards of quality and impact. This is a full-time, in-person role based in Chicago with travel to various training locations across the city and surrounding region.

Case Management Supervisor

$85,000 a year - Full-time

Case Management is a collaborative process of assessment, planning, facilitation, care coordination, evaluation, and advocacy. The Associate Director of Case Management is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the case management department, ensuring quality services are delivered to students, and maintaining compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This role involves providing leadership, direction, and coordination of Case Managers on the Case Management - Student Services team.
